La crête du Baekdudaegan et les pistes forestières de montagne

Le rallye Baekdudaegan en e-MTB parcourt l'épine dorsale montagneuse de la Corée depuis l'observatoire de l'Unification de Goseong, par les cols de Jinburyeong, Hangyeryeong et Daegwallyeong. Lors de voyages plus courts, nous avons aussi parcouru le sentier du ciel du Sobaeksan et le sentier des pins Geumgang.

e-MTB Baekdudaegan Rally

An e-MTB rally covering about 1,050 km along the Baekdudaegan ridge, mostly on forest roads, from the Goseong Unification Observatory to Gurye at the foot of Jirisan in 8-9 days. It is a non-competitive self-paced ride with no cut-off; staff ride along, a support vehicle runs, and riders follow a GPS track on an app. For e-MTB owners with two or more years' experience, and described as tough even on an e-bike.

Baekdudaegan Rally (15 Stages, Touring Mode)

A 15-day rally along the Baekdudaegan ridge from the Goseong Unification Observatory to Seongsamjae on Jirisan, crossing mountain passes and forest roads, run in touring mode rather than as a race. Riders cover 50-94 km a day following a GPS track on a phone app, with a support vehicle and a sweep rider. For riders with two or more years' experience who can handle forest roads; e-bikes were also allowed.

Daegwallyeong Hotel Ride (3 Days)

A three-day, two-night domestic ride based at a five-star hotel in Alpensia, Daegwallyeong, spending two days on the area's forest roads: the Dutasan forest road, Barambu-ri-gil, the Nochusan forest road and Pideokryeong. Local dishes such as dried pollack seaweed soup, Daegwallyeong Hanwoo beef and gondre rice are part of the trip, and it was open to all members, e-bikes included.

Nakdong Gorge & Geumgangsong Pine Trail Ride

A four-day, three-night domestic ride along the Nakdong-jeongmaek ridge through the deep mountains and valleys on the Gangwon-Gyeongbuk border, covering the Nakdong gorge, the Nakdong-jeongmaek Trail, Bakdaljae, Cheonchuksan and Bulyeong Valley, and the Geumgangsong pine trail at 32-74 km a day. Quiet remote forest roads and valleys are the draw, and any member who can ride forest roads could join, e-bikes included.
